Cymbal Summit Auction

Fourteen Zildjian cymbals from Avedis’ private collection will be auctioned for charity during Cymbal Summit 2010. These "never released" cymbals were made in the historic Quincy, Massachusetts factory and date back as far as the 1930's - when cymbals were developed with the help of drummers including Gene Krupa. Like a fine wine, these cymbals have been aging for over sixty years in the Zildjian Vault. Auction proceeds will be awarded to The Avedis Zildjian Scholarship Program.

All cymbal auctions will close to bidding at 12pm Central time on May 8th, 2010. Winning bidders will be announced by Craigie Zildjian on May 8th, 2010 at 3pm (CST) during Cymbal Summit 2010. The announcement will be streamed live at mycymbal.com and cymbalsummit.com. Winning bidders will be contacted via email after the auctions have ended.
